With all of the fuss and bustle with this time of year, it often gets too hectic to stop and take a break for ourselves. We all need something, even for a brief moment, to rejuvinate us about the beauty of simplistic things. I know this may sound odd, but only a plant lover could acknowledge this...I'd like to thank my Jasmine for blooming now and offering that little bit of a sanctuary. While the world was running (me included), I was able to stop and smell the roses, er Jasmine, and remember that simple pleasures are meant to be treasured as gifts to the soul.
