Jasmine dropping flowers

Hi all,

I received a couple of jasmine cuttings almost 2 months ago. They have been doing well, and have started flowering. The issue is that the flowers will bloom over night and then the next day it will fall off. Is this normal? I have them in my sunroom, so they may be getting too much light? I have started to mist them but am wondering if I should just put a humidifier by them? The leaves look healthy and I am careful not to overwater them (only when the top inch of the pots are dry).

Its normal for maid of orleans jasmine flowers to drop off the following morning. sometimes the flowers may linger on for a day longer. dont worry about it. other varieties of arabian jasmine such as Bell of India also drop its flower after a day while some like Mali Pikul stay on for days and I find it a chore to have to deadhead becauee it will remain on the plant even after long desiccated.
