Grif's select Gardenia

My 'Grif's select Gardenia' has a few hips; when I squeezed one, it seems to have seeds in it. Are these viable seeds? Has anyone grown these plants from seeds? Thanks for any info.

RE: Grif's select Gardenia

Hi ;- I am afraid I have no experience with 'Grif's Select'. I have read of the orange red seed pods in the fall. Try it and please let us know the result.

Another option I can offer is send the seeds to me I would be delighted to give it a try. lol
