Fragrant garden (??) at night

Hello, not sure if this is the right place to post this but it's a good start. Every evening, since the fall, I smell an extremely fragrant scent in front of my house. It literally smells like strong perfume. I can't figure out what it is- so I thought maybe its something in the garden. It's snowy now tho, and it still smells at night time! Anyone have any ideas?!

Upsidedown..this is a long shot, but is it possible you're smelling fabric softener? lol..Sounds ridiculous, but when our clothes are in the dryer, along w/fabric softener, a strong scented fragrance emits from the vents the dryer is attached to..I smell it when our neighbor washes clothes too. Like I said, a wild guess, but if it's snowing and temps are cold, I can't think of any fragrant plant growing this time of year..Toni
