I don't know if you ever heard of the perenial called sweet grass!! I don't even know if this is the right forum to post, but is is fragrant!!!!
My goodness!! When it gets cold, and it freezes then thaws, it smells like fresh cut HAY with a scent of jasmine in it through out all the air at night and day in my yard. Everyone here can't beleive how nice the whole back yard smells when it gets above freezing and when the ground get bare from snow. It is so refeshing to wiff that in the middle of winter. You should buy some next spring. It is a sort of ground cover...It even flowers all summer...Funny thing is, it give off no fragrance until it has been through a frost and then thaws all winter!

| Where did you get yours? I've been wanting some. I catch whiffs of it now and then. It grows wild here, but I can't seem to find where it is! LOL! Shelly |

| I bought it at my local greenhouse in the spring. I bought a 6inch pot, and in one summer it spread about 3 feet in diameter for me as a ground cover. It grows excellent as a shade plant. If you can not find any this spring, I will buy you some and ship it..ok. They sell it every year. It is a big seller. Just e-mail and I will send you some..:-) |
