| Hi Everyone!
I was wondering if anyone happens to have a photo of what a fuschia seed pod looks like? I have all these purple things on the ends of my branches and just assumed they were blooms until I read about purple seed pods fuschias get...SO I popped one open and it was a little itty bitty flower :-)
Thanks for your help - I love this place :-) |

Sorry Pele, I haven't got any photos of fuchsia fruits/seed pods at the moment, but as soon as the fuchsias produce some I will post one for you - Kath:) |

Scroll down to the post "Dark Eyes Fuchsia bloom photo" It has a close up of a blossom, a pink flower bud, and on the left lower, a oblong green seed pod on a stem. Hope that helps! ~K |

| I have the same question as Green Larry. I have a red and white very hardy fuschia that puts forth berries. None of my other fuschias do this. It's a very juicy berry and I did kinda taste it so I fervently hope it isn't poisonous. |

Turnberry, don't make any plans for the weekend...........only joking! They are not poisonous but there doesn't seem to be a lot of goodness in them. I understand that you can make jam from them but I think I will stick to marmalade. IanS. |
