Sorry Larry, Haven't been here for a while, busy editing over 500 photos for my new website, hopefully it will on online by the end of September. Yep, definitely Dollar Princess. Rather a large flower for a bonsai, to resolve this, concentrate on the growth of the plant, keep nipping flower buds out. Put the plant into a 5 inch pot and grow on for another 2 years. The tree will have to be at least 12/15inches tall with side branches for everything to be in proportion - Kath:)

Thanks Kath. I may just grow it out as a houseplant, sems a shame to lose those flowers! BTW, have you seen a new variety called Mutant, in which the petals are seperated, like an asclepiad? It looks quite interesting!

Well done Larry. That had me thumbing through a few books to find 'asclepiad'. IanS

I don't know if it is, but the colors are the same as my Angel's Earrings Cascading fuchsia. Jess

No not the same Jess, yours is a single flowering fuchsia and if you look closely Larry's is a double flowering fuchsia - Kath:)
