| I came across this in a gardening magazine- a new fuchsia with unusual flowers, the corrolas of which split into four and open out, very strange.
Its called, appropriately enough, 'Mutant' |

| You might find it at a Fuchsia Specialist nursery Larry. It was introduced in 1983 by Bakers of Halstead, Essex UK. I'll search later through the 'online sales nurseries' to see if any of them stock it - Kath:) |

| Hi again Larry, Here is where you can get Nettala. Click on the link, then scroll down where the fuchsia name Nettala is. To the right you will see groups of 3 or 4 blue letters, these are fuchsia nurseries with that particular fuchsia. Click on them to see which one is nearest to you, some do mail order - Kath :) |

| Hi again, Here's another thought on "Mutant or Rose Quartet" sometimes a new Fuchsia pops up in two different places at about the same time, that's how sometimes you end up with a Fuchsia with the same name. All I can say is that my Rose Quartet is identical to the photo posted. The plant I have has the very same tailed petals and the colour is the same as well. Later in the season the petals change shape and it almost looks like WALZ Jubelteen. Anyone out there have any thoughts on this ? A...... |
