oops forgot to prune

Got some fuchias in pots. all overwintered in garage. forgot to prune them!! Shall I prune them to about 4" high & scrape off some soil, add more, put provado etc now or wait a while?

Wait awhile Consty :),
Best to wait until the frosts have gone, then cut them back, tease out the old soil carefully, removing any thick tap roots that may have formed, leaving as many as possible of the white roots. Don't feed or use Provado until at least 4 weeks after repotting. Kath:) |
