| Hi Kaysbelle Not knowing what cultivar you are dealing with doesn’t give you as many options, I am no expert on bonsai (I know my limitations and leave that to Kath) but I do know that certain varieties DO NOT lend themselves to this type of growth. If the cuttings are growing upright and are strong I think I would suggest that you let a couple of them grow on as single stem standards, another 2 could be twined around each other and grown as a multi stem decorative standard. The remaining plants could have the tips nipped out as another couple of cuttings and grown on as normal bush plants. Lots of things you can do and the site below (it is the BFS Rules and Guidance but it shows just what can be achieved) might assist. Hope this helps Tight |
