Fuchsia Looking Woody

| I have had this lovely fuchsia (dark eyes?) upright bush for a few years now. It has been a good bloomer and stands about five feet tall. Of late, I have noticed that it is getting rather woody with sparse foliage. I gave it a light prune about three four weeks ago, but I don't see any new growth. Should I prune further or wait and watch?
