Heat tolerant fushias for south TX

What would be some heat tolerate fushias for a TX zone 8b?coastal south.I do have 2 shade beds& would like to do one in hanging basket.I seen a variegated one.annie something.
I'm humid all the time unless a cool front blows in.I use a cold GH as not cold very long.

ALSO a 2nd question.if you wanted blooms in april....being they are heavy feeders...when would you start fertilizeing for april blooms??my Temps in april are 70-80 daytime50-60 nights sometimes 70s& what type fertilizer is best. planted in container.

I'm afraid where I live we don't have the problem of the plants being in too much heat - we only have a few months where it is anything like hot!!!

I have been looking through some old threads as I am sure we have covered this before.... but to no avail, however, the American Fuchsia Society have an article on their web site (in the articles section) that may be of interest to you.

There is also a section detailing a couple of nurseries that do mail order which again may be of interest.

Please let the forum know how you get on as I am sure others will be interested
