Does this fuchsia have a chance?

I attempted to overwinter this fuchsia last year. Today it looks like the snow is gone for good so I went into the garage and found it looking like this. To my suprise, it seems to want to grow again. It has white/yellowish shoots sprouting on the sides under the pruning I did - about .5-1 inch long. What do you think - will it bloom again this year? or should I just replace it?

and there's a seedling:

RE: Does this fuchsia have a chance?

Congratulations you've managed to bring your Fuchsia through the winter and yes it will bloom for you this year. The shoots you are seeing are your plant breaking dormancy and starting to put out new growth. It now needs some warmth and light, make sure you don't overwater, if the sprouts get lanky it's not getting enough light. When the shoots have two or three sets of leaves pinch the tips out to make your plant fuller. Don't put it outside until there is no danger of frost. I don't know your temperatures but where I am I put my Fuchsias out the beginning of May. I'm Zone 8 PNW. Your seedling could very well be just another shoot coming from the root of your plant. There are more knowledgeable Fuchsia growers then I am but this forum has been very slow so I have tried to answer your questions. Anyone else have anything to add please chime in.
