IÂm suffering from the same Euro-fuchsia lust thatÂs afflicting you. IÂve contacted two British companies about shipping to the US, but they have yet to reply. IÂve also sent an email to one German seller (Rosi Friedl), and they were interested in shipping to the States; unfortunately, it was cost prohibitive. (In addition to the high shipping rates, IÂd also need to buy some sort of certificate that cost 50 Euro.)

How do breeds get across international lines anyway? If you browse British and German catalogs (I donÂt do the Dutch or Scandinavian ones, since I donÂt read those languages), there are a good many varieties that are common to both continents. So what do I need to do to make this happen with my wish list (providing that itÂs reasonably affordable)?

I stumbled across a picture of the Guurtje Fuchsia on the internet and loved it. Maybe someone else will write in and tell us when/where we can expect to find this particular Fuchsia. I hope . . . . .

I'm still looking for Guurtje Fuchsia if anyone knows where I can buy it.

It's terrible when you see a fuchsia, fall in love with it and then can't find a source, I know that feeling very well. I did a bit of searching and found a fuchsia similar to Guurtje. You can get this one at Earthworks Fuchsias.
