I recently purchased a Deltas Sarah & a Army Nurse. Will they be blue or purple?

RE: Blue Fuchsias?

They’ll be purple. It’s the same as with most other flowers: petunias, pansies, you name it. In the horticultural world, blue usually means a shade of purple.

Although the on-line fuchsia database offered by the Swedish Fuchsia Society (http://www2.dicom.se/fuchsias/engliststart.html) lists the corolla of Army Nurse as "blueviolet," I’m not aware of any truly blue fuchsia. The same database identifies the corolla of Blue Satin as "blue" with no qualifiers; nevertheless, the linked image appears purple.
