Do you know any good mail order nurseries for fuchsias?

| Growing up in Germany, we always had Fuchias. Now living in Georgia (zone 7), I would love to grow them.
First, where do I get them from? Second, what do I need to have Fuchias growing well in Georgia?

| Since I live in Utah, I can’t offer any advice on growing fuchsias in Georgia. However, I ordered from two separate growers last year: Earthworks (www.fuchsias.net) and Monnier’s Country Gardens (www.monnierscountrygardens.com). My experiences with both were positive, and I have placed orders with them again this year. (The orders won’t ship until May.) Antonelli Brothers Begonias supposedly offer a wide selection of fuchsias as well. I received a fuchsia catalog from them last year, but didn’t place an order. This was probably a good thing, since I can’t them to honor the 2006 catalog request I submitted on their web site (www.antonellibegonias.com), and they never answer their phone. -Crazy |

| I have had some nice plants from "Joy Creek Nursery" I am not sure how they are for mail order, but the plants are very high quality. I got a Fuchsia called "Clair De Lune" from them last season, which quickly became one of my favorites. I have seen the nurserys web page and its a good one. hpe this helps. |
