Hi,

I got 4 fuchsias boliviana about 9 months ago.I planted them in large pots and I used azalea potting mix. They are under the shade of a large loquot tree. One produced 2 flowers. The other 3 none. What is causing this? I water regularly but a do not let it dry nor I waterlog them.Do I need to fertilize them regualarly? If so what type o fertilizer and the n/p/k ratios? Other elements besides these? If you know some brand names let me know. Also should I prune them regularly.Thank you for your info.

I have about 30 fushias, some in pots, some in the ground. They like to be fed often. I use Oscomote 15/15/15 or 20/20/20. Once in awhile I will feed them a liquid food. I do not prune them at all, in the fall, the baskets are emptied, and the ones in the ground I leave alone, and they will grow next spring.
