fuchsia 'joan leach'
How much sun it prefers. Is it sprawling or upright ? What is the max height and spread ? Hardiness. If the planting location sunny but close to small maple will be okay.

-Thanks

RE: fuchsia 'joan leach'

Hi Lazy

It would appear from most of the descriptions on this cultivar that ‘Joan Leach’ is what can best be described as a ‘lax upright’ and can be grown as either a bush (18" – 24") or trailer in a hanging pot.

Regarding the hardiness, H3 as defined by the EGF (European Garden Flora) is equivalent to Zone 7.

As with most fuchsias the like good light without excessive heat and if you could provide a site that receives shade in the hottest part of the day this will help the plant to thrive.

See link for further information.

Hope this helps.
