keeping fuchsias indoors

I am new here and have read the FAQ's and gone through many messages and responses but didn't find the answer to my question. I just bought a beautiful fuchsia and wonder if I can keep it indoors as a houseplant all the time? I know you are supposed to put them outside during the summer and in my zone either it is an annual (which is not an option for me. I couldn't just let it die.) or I have to cut it back for overwintering. I read all about that but it is so pretty I would like to keep it inside all the time. It is the trailing kind, in a hanging basket. I think it is a dollar princess, anyway, if anyone could answer my question that would be great. Also, if I can keep it as a houseplant all year, is there anything special I have to do with it as far as lighting, feeding, etc?
