| I recently acquired a small specimen of Fuchsia excorticata, the New Zealand native tree-fuchsia.
If my small plant takes off and (eventually) grows large, I thought that it might be fun to try grafting showy basket-type fuschia scions onto appropriately sited twigs or shoots.
Does anyone know whether standard ornamental hybrid fuschias are graft-compatible with F. excorticata? I can't seem to find any information on this on the web.
