| Has any one out there seen a fuchsia called "Cape Cod"? I found one at a trusted Nursery. It is suposed to have Yellow sepals/corrolas, according to the tag. I have heard that this is just about impossible, but I have never taken anything home from this place that wasnt as labled. I have at least 10 fuchsia sites book marked and havent seen it listed any where. While I can just wait till it blooms, I am really curious if any one out there has heard of or seen this little guy. (One bad sign here is that the leaves are shaped very much like a "cape Fuchsia" which is not a real fuchsia at all. :( ) |

| Many of the true fuschias have leaves similat to Cape Fuschia, so that tells nothing; having colored sepals does as all of my Cape fuschias have light green buds (sepals). True fuschias produce buds at the leaf axials; while Capes produce a spike of blossoms. They come out with new varieties often; if there is a grower locally it might have been developed there. Is there any growers label on the container? If so contact them. |
