Indoor vs. Outdoor Fuschia

I am a complete amateur with fuschias....seeing as how I killed my first beauty 2 two years ago. I had it in a pot on a southeast facing shaded porch. I'd like to give fuschias another go, and have FINALLY located a grower online (www.accentsforhomeandgarden.com).

In order to keep them alive, where is the best place to locate the pots? Is it ok to plant several varieties together? One per pot? Size of pot per plant?

If anyone has a moment and can give me a quick tutorial, I'd appreciate it!

I did put these on the other thread for you but here they are again Kathleen

Yes you can put more than on variety in a pot.

In respect of size of pot per plant, generally speaking one in a 5 inch pot. Hanging baskets, 3 in an 8 inch, 5 in a 10/15 inch.

Best grown outdoors and out of the pm sun.

Have a read in the FAQ's located at the top of the Forum Page or visit my website for more tutorials(link below) - Kath:)

Oh, my gosh, Kath (nice name, by the way!)--now I'm SO overwhelmed! So many varieties! At least there is a "hardy" recommended list on your site.

Sorry about missing your links on the other thread...I post so often on different forums around here, I forget where on earth I've been! =0

Great links too--nice to know WHERE I can find fuchsias!

Kathleen
