Leaves turning yellow and dropping on single branch

I bought a fuchsia this Spring and transplanted in May. I live in southern Pennsylvania. The fuchsia had been doing very well and then about 1 week ago the leaves on one of the branches started to turn yellow and drop off from the bottom to the top. Today the very top portion of the braanch is drooping and looks as if it is on it's last leg. However, the rest of the plant looks healthy. I've never had a fuchsia before so what could this be or is this normal? And should I cut off the dying branch?

It happens; sometimes damage, sometimes a pest. Just cut it out
