New Fuchsia..new gardener...help

I just purchased a Fuschia from a catalog. It has three branches coming out of what was a cutting, all of which are about 6 inches tall. 2 of the stems look dead, the other has a little life on it. I know these are picky plants...what sort of things should I be doing and looking for? What should I be careful of? Thanks!

Hi Joe,

Cut all three branches back by half ie to three inches. If there is still some life left in it, this will encourage it to shoot again and become a better shape. Keep it moist but not soaking wet and keep it out of direct sunlight, preferably outdoors in the shade Let us know if it recovers - Kath:)
