fuchsia disease or insect?

Every year for a long time I have gotten 2" fuchsia starts in the spring, and planted 4 different varieties per hanging planter. They have always done well on the north side of my house under a patio cover. They get lots of circulation, and morning and late afternoon sun. This year I have something happening to only three of the plants. The leaves look droopy, and the edges are curling under. They are not yellowing, or dropping off the plant. I have looked for insects, but don't see any thing except some tiny white things on the underside of the leaves. They don't look alive, however, and brush off. Any suggestions? The rest of the plants look great! Ann

Are you sure you don't have white-fly (aphids) Ann? If it is, if you pick the pot up and give it a little shake you should see one or two fly away. Have you sprayed with anything to kill aphids? - Kath:)

I have now sprayed for everything that could be on the plants. I can't tell any difference yet, but hope whatever is happening stops. Funny thing is, the affected plants are putting out blooms galore! Thanks for your help.
