Are these some kind of eggs?

These were in my potting soil,hope you can see the pics ok,kinda fuzzy ...Whe I popped them open they had some sort of liquid in them.I found some smaller yellow looking ones that looked to have already burst open. Just wondering if I've got Osmocote or eggs?Thanks,TD |

| Were these 'eggs' in the pots of plants just purchased? if so, my guess is they're a time released fertilizer. They could be snail of slug eggs but, these guys are usually laid in clusters not spread out in the soil. A...... |

| ok I feel stupid...Yes, they were in some potting soil that i bought that says it feeds for 3 months.So I guess that's what they are.I'm glad it's fertilizer and not some kind of critter that I needed to take care of,lol.Thanks,TD |
