Identifying Louise

We're no-spray -- so we have to be picky about fuchsias.

I have one, purchased 3-4 years ago as a pot plant at Lowe's (yes, I know . . . ) which has proven to be as near completely mite-resistant as makes no difference. It also blooms a lot, has a nice color, and is double (or anyhow, what I as a Rose person would call double).

The tag, of course is lost -- victim of a puppy-attack in its relative youth. But I would like to know what it is, if possible. I am sure the name was a woman's name, first-name "Louise."

I've placed a collage of photos on Photobucket (see link below)
If anyone has a faint clue who Louise might be, I'd be appreciative.

Jeri, I'm pretty sure it's NOT Louise Emershaw, possibly Emma Louise but the color of the stamens don't look right for this variety also the sepals on EL look pinkish when they mature, at least in the pictures I've seen. There are more fuchsias with Louise in the name but I'm not familiar with them. I'll keep a picture of your fuchsia handy, go through a few of my books, if I find anything I'll come back. Have you tried googling mite resistant fuchsias, this might be one of the more recent introductions.

RE: Identifying Louise

I'm back....I just looked up Emma Louise in George Bartlett's Fuchsias ~ A Colour Guide ~ The stamens in the picture look the same colour as yours, if the sepals on yours turn pink this just might be your Fuchsia, this is the description of 'Emma Louise' in the book.
Double Trailer~Superb small cultivar, TUBE and SEPALS pale rose. COROLLA opens blue-violet changing to mauve-pink. FOLIAGE medium green. Trailing growth and small to medium sized flowers make this an ideal plant for a hanging pot. I could look up the AFS detailed description for you if needed.
