How do I prune the seed pod?

Do I take off only the pod, or the stem as well? Any advice would be appreciated. Also, some of them are (or have turned) purple. Should I prune those too? Thanks much!

Hi Tracey,
You can remove just the green seed pod, the stem will fall off naturally, or you can remove the green seed pod including the stem. Yes remove the purple ones as well, these are just ones that were green and have ripened which now contain the seeds, if you cut one in half lengthwise you will see the little seeds covered in a jelly like substance - Kath :)
