Is this normal?

I am wondering if it is normal for a Fuchsia is starting to stop blooming. When I got the plant it was beautiful, I have fertilized it weekly and kept it in the shade. I have even tried to keep it cool by putting it on the ground at mid-day. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hi Bugleweeed,
Have you been removing the dead flowers and fruits/seed pods? Doing this encourages the plant to produce more flowers. - Kath :)
