How will I know?

Posted by Hoovernoover England (My Page) on

I took some cuttings recently, mainly from fushias and put them in oasis. They seem to be doing ok but how will I know when they have roots? They have been in there for about 2 weeks. I put 3 impatiens cuttings in a Gel 2 Root pot at the same time and they have all got roots :) When will the fushias be ready?
Thanks

Hi Hoovernoover,
The first signs (if you can't see any visible roots), are new, shinier leaves just underneath the top of the cutting that you planted - Kath:)
