Billy Green update

Hi. Been a while since I've posted here, but I always enjoy reading everyone's info and learning from it, thank you.

Just wanted to let you know I think it's a miracle that my two Billy Green fuschias are alive and well in this horrible heat. It's been over 100 for nearly the last 23 days or so. Some days 108! They are in coco-hanging baskets completely out of direct sunlight but do get indirect light.

I can't say they've grown 10 feet tall, but they are flowering and looking healthy. I've been spraying neem for mites, but everything aside, they seem to be doing okay.

Thanks for all your help!

Well done Lola, you've really done your utmost best to keep them going in over 100f. Kath :)

I can report the same thing--Billy Green, Mary and Gartenmeister Bonstedt are all growing happily in spite of at least two weeks over 100 F. I absolutely adore the triphylla hybrids...I'm fairly fond of F. magellanica, too.
