 o
how tall?

I took cuttings from some of my little Fred Meyer-bought fuschias earlier this year, and am training some as standards. I was just wondering how tall they will grow, or if they'll keep going 'till I say stop. In other words, how tall can I make a standard fuschia? They are all of the "hanging basket" sort, but I have no idea exactly what they are...

Also, is the fruit of all fuschias edible??

RE: how tall?

Easy question first; yes the berries are edible.

Without knowing the variety, can't say how tall it will grow. Some cultivars may grow 10 feet, others only a foot. Best bet would be to allow it to grow a single stem and see. Most standards are 2 1/2 to 3 feet tall, but have seen some taller.

So I pretty much just leave it up to the plant??

Yep, the plant's gonna show you it's limits.
