Does anyone know how to graft Fuchsias?

I haven't tried to graft but I assume it is the same methods as any other form aof grafting, anyway I have found you a good link that should answer your question, just copy and paste into your browser.

Yes it does work Fitzroy. I have used the same method as in the link above, but for fuchsia bonsai if I have needed an extra branch growing from a trunk. Of course I have used the same variety scion as the bonsai tree. - Kath:)

RE: Grafting a broken Fuchsia

My Fuchsia standard, of four or so years, broke at the soil level during the last big hurricane. I have the stem trunk in water and the base (w/roots) is still in the pot..... Can I graft the trunk back onto the bottom? If so, where can I find instructions?

Moxiet; allow the crown to begin sending up new shoots. Once it gets large enough to have hardwood; then graft.
