What Fuchsia's would do good in my zone?

| Hello, I live in Texas D/FW = Dallas / Fort Worth. I love these flowers and did not think I could have them here due to our hot summers. Sometimes very dry, sometimes very humid weather. We never know what type of summer we'll have till it gets here. We can have 100 plus degrees for days on end and other times it can be wet rainy for days on end.
Some summers we have clouds all the time causing humidity to be 90 percent.
What type of Fuchsia's can I have?

Hi Barb,
Not an easy climate for fuchsia growing. In respect of heat the triphylla types like 'Gartenmeister Bonstedt' or 'Thalia' are better than the ordinary cultivars, but there again don't like foliage or flowers getting an awful lot of rain on them. Whatever sort you try, keep them in a shady spot out of direct sunlight. If planted in the garden try to keep the soil moist, if planted in pots, water in the mornings.
