When is the best time to start plants from seed? I would really like to start some soon, but my boyfriend thinks I should wait another month before I do so. I'm planning on growing perennial (Gaillardia, Asclepias tuberosa) & annual (Cardinal Climber, Nasturtium) flowers & a number of vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, squash, etc.) I have hinted (nagged) for the bf to build me a cold frame, but as of yet do not have one to transfer seedlings into.
