Haven't posted for a while, see some old faces and some new ones! I am putting in some pathways in my garden and want something low growing to cover them. Can't do any impervious in the garden, have looked at chamomile but doubt it will grow to the extent i want. any ideas?

Creeping red thyme is my favorite "Steppable". Just don't pay for the name, and don't confuse with "mother of thyme", it grows much taller, while creeping red tyme is very compact, and tight. I've had great results with it between stepping stones, only bad thing it grows so well, I have to cut it back to expose the stones.

Elfin thyme is my favorite: very tight, compact and well behaved.
