What do I do about frozen spike plants?

Hi Fellow Gardeners!

I have some common spike plants around the house. They are not Yuccas, the closest picture I see on-line is dracaena. I have never seen them flower.

They are several years old now, and i've never had to prune them or anything, but now they seem to have frozen. The leaves are down and the flesh doesn't look so good.

Should I wait until Spring to see if they pick up, or should I be prepared to prune them down to about an inch off the ground to allow for new growth.

Your advice is appreciated, do you have an opinion?

Thanks in advance.
