Howdy all,

Wondering if I could get some advice on when to cut back roses in Atlanta, and what other work I should do to them before spring.

Many thanks!

RE: When to cut back roses?

This is the time of year for it. Back when I had roses, I always did it the last weekend of February just so I had a fixed time I could remember. I got the advice from a member of the rose society in Atlanta. Although I don't know the url, I do know they have a web site with all kinds of basic advice. You might find an answer there.

RE: When to cut back roses?

I live in Canton,GA moving here last December and living in AZ for many years, not sure when to cut back my newly planted rose bushes last year. They need grooming very badly and look unkepted.
