Hi Everyone, I am thinking about sprouting tomatoes some time mid or late month now that it's February. I know I am going to try Eva Purple Ball and Japanese Black Trifele this year. I noticed two other types that caught my eye on a gardening site. One is a variety called 'Garden Peach' and the other is 'Red Zebra'. Has anyone tried these tomatoes here in Georgia? If so, how did they produce/stand up to the humidity and disease, etc?? Thanks & Please Advise...!

Black Trifele is beautiful and delicious!

Thanks Decaturga. I haven't tried Black Trifele yet but have heard very good things about it being both prolific and very delicious when grown here in Ga-I have my fingers crossed on this one. I wish someone knew about Garden Peach or Red Zebra-maybe no response means they don't do well here though...??

I have grown both. The Garden Peach struggled for me; however, the Red Zebra was one of the most productive plants in the garden. It produced more than enough for everyone and lasted the whole season.

Hi Gthayes, thank you so much for letting me know. The red zebra is very pretty, which is why they caught my eye. Did you like the way they tasted/texture, etc?

Yes, they were very popular here. I would definitely try this variety because of how well it did in the heat and humidity.
