I started yesterday, figuring if they get hit, plant some more. If we're talking about cheaper priced seed packs what's a small loss?

I actually purchased few pounds of Hollyhocks, Foxgloves, Zinnias and Cosmos on line.
Whatever survives - will look beautiful. April 15th is close enough - will most probably be no freeze this year.

Hollyhocks? I can't get them to do much of anything. A few made it two years ago but don't go over five inches in height. Maybe this year they'll surprise me?

Foxgloves seem to do well for me, or at least right now they're the must lush looking perennial I have. Seeded last spring.

Pounds? Goodness girl. That sounds like oodles of color.

Foxgloves are doing very well here, and they re-seed wonderfully.
Hollyhocks are beginning to feel at home - finally! When I just about gave up on them, they said: what the heck, let's bloom! There were two very tall ones last season - pink and burgundy, and I see seedlings in few places.
Oodles of color is the goal :)!
