I'm planning to use a machete to bushwack and clear a corner of my yard. The area is sloped and has some poison ivy and God knows what else.

To protect myself from contact, would I be safe if I wear track pants, long sleeved shirts and gloves or are there better gear recommended around these nasty plants?

Can folks share what works for them?
