A little slow to spread, I dug naturalized paper whites out of my horse pasture and they have been doing very well for me in part shade for years now. They bloom much later than all the rest of my daffodils (right now in April), and have much darker, thick foliage compared to my other narcissus.

Thalia grows like a weed in my bed with northern exposure. They come back every year. Every 3-4 years, they need to be dug up. Sort out the larger bulbs to be replanted with soil that is amended and bulb food. The small bulbs are discarded. I think Thalia likes some shade.
