cold hardy bottlebrush

I'm looking for cold hardy bottlebrush for zone 8a in SC. I already have some Woodlanders red, but I would like to try other showier BB's. I'd like to give Callistemon rigidus - Clemson hardy - a try, but can't find any. Any suggestions?

Dear lucindalaws,
I think _Callistemon rigidus_ is used in plantings at the South Carolina Botanical Garden at Clemson University. You may want to contact the SCBG as to the availability of this plant. I think you'll find contact information on the SCBG's Website. I have a 'Woodlanders Hardy' bottlebrush that was wrecked by the Easter Freeze a couple of years ago. It is trying to recover from that shocker but hasn't completely made it around the corner or over the hill.

I finally found a 'clemson hardy' red cluster BB at Lowes, but it's late Aug, and I'm wondering if I should overwinter her indoors. Tag info indicates cold hardy to zone 7a.
