NE GA: What to grow around east-facing porch

We live in Athens, Georgia. My tiny back porch faces east, with a small hill and row of tall trees blocking the early morning light. There's a brick wall along the north edge of the porch and a 6' wood fence on the south edge, both running east-west. There's room for some containers along that north wall. There's a thriving rosemary bush in the tiny bit of soil next to the south fence (and an HVAC unit), and maybe 2 square feet of usable soil around the bush.

We grew herbs in pots out front last year and now have some small pots going inside the window that looks out on the porch--that's about the full extent of my experience. Anyone have recommendations for what edible plants will grow out back (herbs or veggies)? Low-maintenance and low-water greatly preferred. Thanks in advance!
