Choisya ternata anyone? (or other lime-green foliage)

Is anyone growing Choisya ternata (Mexican orange) "Sundance"?

I'm wondering how well it would do in Atlanta, in a sunny and fairly protected spot.

I'm looking for something with lime-green/chartreuse/golden foliage to go in between a Japanese Maple/Loropetalum combo and a Sambucus Black Lace. The area gets almost full sun.

I'd really like something evergreen (but not needly), and a max size of 4'. The Choisya would be a little bigger, so would need to be pruned.

I am also tempted to put in a Cotinus "Golden Spirit" as they look so stunning, but its not evergreen and i would have to prune heavily, so I probably should find another spot for that.

Any experience with Choisya? Or any other suggestions for full-sun, lime-ish-green foliage, preferably evergreen?

Thank you!
