Yes, my dahlias that have decided to live, sprouted very early. Only one made it.

Me too. I see some sprouting in the back area, which is sheltered. I haven't noticed the ones in the front on the hill. That area would have received more exposure to the elements.

I don't think any of mine are coming back either. Not sure if it's because the ground stayed so wet due to all the rain we had over the Fall and Winter or if it was because of the cold weather. Either way it doesn't look good.

Darn it, I was afraid that was the case. That makes me so sad, they were one of my favorite flowers.

I had written my dahlias off and to my surprise today I noticed a tiny green sprout on one. I went and checked the rest and found another one was starting to sprout. No sign of life with the other 5 yet but I'm so happy 2 seem to have made it!

Mine are all up now! All survived!

Mine are sprouting but they're new and I just put them in the ground this year. I'm sorry you lost yours.

Mine are all sprouting, but in my yard they are a slug delicacy. Seems like the slug population has exploded recently.

Well, I finally dug up my lavender dahlias and all the tubers were rotted, but the BoraBora tubers look fine but haven't sprouted yet.

I'm re-doing the bed they were in so they needed to be moved anyway so I moved the BoraBoras to a sunnier location and am hoping for the best.

Whoo-hoo!!! Today I noticed a teeny little green shoot coming up from the BoraBora tubers!

I guess being from BoraBora, they like it warmer :) I love the name of your dahlias. I'd get some just for that!
