Raised veggie wood board chewed

Posted by tjani (My Page) on

I wil try to post pics, but some creature has chewed up my raised veggie wooden board and created a "V" shape in the middle.

I see the wood chips lying around.

I found this damage when I went out to plant and it wasn't there last last time I used the veggie patch (near the beginning of fall last year). So it much have been *eaten* after fall.

I have a lake in the backyard and I have seen beavers swimming in you think it could be beavers? Or someone else?

Any ideas...please help.

Walter Reeves is a good source for info like this. A pic would be helpful too (unless you've already figured out who did it)
