But you can also get this folding composter, it is a roll, we had them at Ace last year (no longer) - black plastic full of small holes. Three stakes hold it in the ground and you could use that. It's pretty cheap and is not bad looking. I think you could also do one with chickenwire and then wrap that bamboo fencing stuff around it for looks. Fill that up and use it.

Thanks! Now - do I get these "seed potatoes" at any garden center? Can I really just use potatoes from the store? How deeply do I plant them? In soil? Or something looser?
When I said for idiots, I meant it, didn't I? :) hee hee!

(This is sad -- I'm such a gardening freak - we don't even eat potatoes -- I just now feel compelled to grow them!!!!!!!)
