Questions about bouganvillea & calladiums

Hi Everybody,

It has been a while since I posted on here, but I could really use some help. I have two containers and neither seem to be thriving right now. I have been using the garden stakes that attach to a coke bottle to saturate the soil, so I don't think water is a problem. I also fertilized with a 3 month fertilizer, so nutrients shouldn't be a problem. But all of the leaves have fallen off of my bouganvillea, the calladium is browning at the edges, and the geraniums are drying up. The light is supposed to be strong in the afternoon, but this yard casts long and short shadows at different times of the year, so I don't really know how much light it is getting. Can anybody tell from these pictures? Thanks in advance!

The geranium is just turning over flowers. Cut each stalk back to the base, it should make more. The Caladium is in way way too much sun. It really needs shade, especially that light color. So delicate!
Can you give your bouganvillea at least part-sun (morning sun, afternoon shade) until it takes off. Did you loosen the roots when you planted it, and planted it in well draining soil? It doesn't like to be too wet or two constantly hot.
We have one in our church greenhouse and I move it into shade this time of year. They don't like to be too dry either...just right!
