I got some Dahlias today - they just went on sale at half off (Roswell location). I presume it is on sale state-wide.

FYI my local Lowe's also had bulbs 50% last week when I was there so check them out too. Picked up some Dahlias and a few other odds & ends myself. Be careful though, alot of the stuff looked it like it might be duds with no signs of life so try to feel up the bags and see if there are any sprouts or fresh shoots before you buy them. 50% off ain't as good a deal on a dead plant lol.

I was at Pike's Saturday, the one at Peachtree Ind. and McGinnis Ferry, and they had their bulbs 50% off too. I picked up some caladiums that were already starting to sprout. Now if I can just find a spot in my flower bed with enough shade for them. If not I'll just pot them up and they can stay on the back porch...

The bulbs in Lowe's were very dry and questionable. Danielle, you are right: 50% off is not a bargain on dead plants.
